Accreditations and Memberships
Liden & Denz is accredited with various international bodies and member of a number of chamber of commerces and similar organisations. It is important to understand the difference between the two terms. Accreditation usually means the positive result of an on-site inspection or audit. Sometimes (eg for Bildungsurlaub), the decision to accredit is based only on written statements made by school. The standards necessary to gain a certain accreditation are unique for each accreditation scheme. There are explained in some detail following the weblinks below. To become a member of a certain chamber of commerce, usually no inspection is required.

EAQUALS - European Association of Quality Language Services (only Liden & Denz St.Petersburg) EAQUALS is an association of providers of language services, founded in 1991, with over 100 members in over 20 different countries. EAQUALS grants its quality label to institutions that meet its high inspection standards. Before becoming a full member of EAQUALS, schools and organizations must undergo a rigorous inspection based on the Code of Practice and Charters. After three years they must be inspected again. Our St.Petersburg centre has been admitted to EAQUALS in 2007. Our Moscow centre is due to be inspected in summer 2008. |

TRKI (TORFL) Testing Centre: Our language schools are both official examination centres for the new Russian State Examination TRKI (TORFL in English). Liden & Denz has been running preparation courses for the TRKI examinations for several years. Until recently, students sat the examination at one of a small group of selected state universities. After the Examination Board has granted Liden & Denz the right to organise the examination in-house, students wishing to take the TRKI at one of our centres will find even easier to enrol for one of the tests within the TRKI system. |

Bildungsurlaub: Russian courses at our centres are recognised as “Bildungsurlaub” in various regions of Germany (Bundesländer). In this PDF you find an overview of current recognitions but it is always good to check with us for recent updates. |

CSN: Students from Sweden can apply for a CSN scholarships when learning at the Liden & Denz Language Centre, if they study at least for 13 weeks and if they enrol through one of our authorised agents in Sweden. More information on request. |

The RBCC – Russo-British Chamber of Commerce exists to facilitate trade between Britain and Russia. Services include a monthly business digest, in-depth regional and company profiles, exhibitions, conferences and up to the minute Russian business advice. |

The Association of European Businesses represents and promotes the interests of European companies conducting business in and with the Russian Federation. The AEB carries out activities to improve the Russian business and trade environment and to promote economic integration and partnership between the Russian Federation and the European Union. |

The Joint Chambers of Commerce supports economic relations between Switzerland and Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus. It does so by promoting business opportunity through the provision of current information and organizing events that showcase economic possibilities and provide contacts to key individuals and organizations in the countries it represents. Liden & Denz is a member of this important association since 1994. |

ROPRYAL – Russian Association of Teachers for Russian Language and Literature Liden & Denz became a member of the Russian national body regulating the teaching of Russian in 1999, shortly after the association was founded. Teachers of Liden & Denz take active part in the association, writing essays and participating in ROPRYAL’s conferences and regional workshops. |
