Student Testimonials: Learning Russian in a Home-Stay

In my host family we had good conversations in Russian language. Anna and Andrej were very welcoming and helpful, took me to school the first day, explained all important things and even spent a Saturday with me to show me Zarskoje Selo. Anna’s Russian food was delicious! I really felt at home with them. Our school city tour on first day with Tonya was interesting and very good for a first impression.

Anja Leutelt – Germany

Great family with great breakfast. Every morning I had different breakfast to get to know the whole Russian breakfast cuisine. The family was very nice, friendly and helped me a lot. Every evening we had tea and cookies together. Very-very nice family! I will miss them a lot.

Stephanie Brueckner – Germany

My host family was very accommodating and helped me with my Russian whenever I needed. They were incredibly nice and made me feel like I was part of a family. I would love to live with them again, and I keep in touch with them through email.

Ricky Gandhi – USA

The family was very engaged and friendly, I instantly felt at home. They treated me like I was part of the family.
