Are you looking for an exciting internship opportunity that will allow you to improve your CV and try something new while you take Russian language courses? Liden & Denz is proud to offer in-house internship opportunities at our St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Riga school locations. Our internships last anywhere between four and 12 weeks; however, outstanding performers may be able to extend their internship placement. All candidates are required to pass an entry contest in creative writing and thinking before being accepted. The application deadline for internships at Liden & Denz is 12 weeks prior to your desired arrival date. Liden & Denz will make a decision regarding your acceptance no later than eight weeks prior to the internship start date. Please note that all interns must be 21 years of age or older and because of legal reasons, internships are unpaid. However, interning at Liden & Denz offers many other benefits and perks!

Part-time Work & Study Internships

Part-time internships present the perfect opportunity for students looking to experience working in the Russian culture while also learning Russian. The part-time internship programme includes our normal group course of 20 weekly Russian lessons from Monday to Friday, and 20 hours of internship work in the afternoons typically after 14:30. Students interning part-time at Liden & Denz enjoy:

  • The opportunity to interact with a multicultural group of like-minded students from around the globe

A prior knowledge of the Russian language is not required for part-time internships at Liden & Denz. Please note that students are responsible for finding their own accommodation for the duration of their stay, either through Liden & Denz or independently.

Full-time Internships at Liden & Denz

Students interning on a full-time basis at Liden & Denz work for 40 hours a week and receive free accommodation in either a single room or shared flat for the entire length of their internship. Full-time internships are a fantastic opportunity for students to build their experience quickly and make a great addition to any CV. Students interning full-time at Liden & Denz benefit from:

  • Four included private Russian lessons every week and the opportunity to request more lessons at a nominal cost
  • Free ISIC student card
  • Experience working at one of the first and leading Russian language institutes in Russia

Students interested in a full-time internship must meet the following qualifications:

  • Already completed a part-time internship at Liden & Denz
  • Already completed a minimum of an 8-week language stay at Liden & Denz
  • Have outstanding recommendations from the field of the desired internship

It is highly recommended that full-time interns are comfortable and familiar with speaking Russian.

Video journalist/Youtube content creator

You are an English/German speaker and have an interest and some experience in video content creation? Requirements:

  • Good writing skills, interest in Russian culture, history and society, sociable personality, team spirited.
  • Specific requirements: experience shooting short videos (with own cam or smartphone), editing clips and working with the youtube platform,
  • Russian language level and usage: A2, communication with colleagues in Russian. Team meetings, task assignments and reporting done in English or German.
Blogger/Editorial assistant

You are an English/German/Italian speaker and have a talent for copywriting and creating meaningful and readable texts. Requirements:
