Student Accommodations in Moscow

The opportunity to live and study Russian in the capital city of Moscow is very exciting for many. However, in a bustling city of more than 13 million people, finding comfortable, affordable, and well-located accommodations from abroad can be tricky! Liden & Denz knows that appropriate accommodations are integral to a positive language learning experience; as such, we have our accommodation officers work closely with students to ensure that they are able to finding housing that meets their needs and aligns with their preferences. To accommodate the wide range of lifestyles and goals of its students, Liden & Denz offers a variety of accommodation options, described in further detail below, including homestays, private apartments, shared flats, and hotel rooms. Liden & Denz also offers its students a free arrival transfer from their port of travel to their accommodations, although this service is not available to students who arrange their own independent accommodations.

Enrich Your Russian Language Lessons with a Homestay in Moscow

For many students, participating in a home stay with a host family is a highlight of their time learning Russian at Liden & Denz. Our host families are not necessarily a traditional married couple with children. The most important factor for Liden & Denz when we handpick our host families is that they are welcoming, supportive people who will make an effort to positively contribute to their student’s learning experience, make them feel comfortable in the new home, and be encouraging as they practice their new language skills. Students should note that:

• The fee for homestays is calculated from Sunday to Sunday, and students who arrive before Sunday will need to pay extra fees
• Students may choose a breakfast only or half-board (breakfast and dinner) meal option
• Five or more extra days are calculated as equivalent to one week for fee purposes

Stay in a Shared Flat (18+) During Russian Language School

Attending a Russian language institute also presents a valuable opportunity to make friends with your classmates, adding a social element to your stay and giving you even more opportunities to practice your Russian. Liden & Denz’s shared flats are the perfect option for students who want to make the most of this opportunity. All flats have been selected and inspected by Liden & Denz to ensure that they are of appropriate quality for our students. All of our Moscow shared flats are centrally located, and most are within walking distance of the Liden & Denz campus. All shared flats are near a metro station, making it easy for students to get out and explore the city between their Russian classes. Students should note a few key points regarding our shared flats:

• Shared flats are only available to students aged 18+
• The fee for flats is calculated from Sunday to Sunday, and students who arrive before Sunday will need to pay extra fees
• One or more extra nights are calculated as one week for fee purposes
• Flats include bed linens, towels, kitchen equipment, a telephone, WiFi, and a washing machine
